Introduction

The EQ2 is a reverse slop equalizer. Because its electrical curve is similar to coaxial cable loss, it is also known as the cable loss simulator.

In addition to being a cable loss simulator, common applications for EQ2 are described below.

In CATV systems, intermodulation distortion is usually generated due to uneven signal levels.

Therefore, to achieve a flat wideband signal level, a slop equalizer and reverse slop equalizer can be used as the adjustment.

Soontai's slop equalizer and reverse slop equalizer have excellent return loss and flat slope characteristics that can easily achieve good impedance matching with the system and achieve flatness broadband characteristics.
